About

Tyrell Champion
Principal Psychologist / Founder

B.Psych.Sci (Hons), AHPRA registered Psychologist, Board-approved supervisor, MAAPI

I believe that therapy is most powerful when you can show up as your full, authentic self.

Whether you are navigating the world as an Autistic or ADHD adult, a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, or someone standing at the intersection of both, I am here to provide a space where your identity is celebrated.

My Approach: Neuro-Affirming & Collaborative

It's essential to me that we work from a neuro-affirming and strengths-based perspective. This means we focus on understanding your unique nervous system, getting to know your authentic self, and finding strategies that actually work for you.

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I want each client to feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. I welcome stimming, movement, and comfort items in our sessions, and I am always happy to adjust our communication - whether that’s via video, audio-only, or utilising the chat function.

Experience & Expertise

Since graduating from the University of Queensland, I’ve gained broad experience in:

  • Neurodivergence: Supporting ADHD and Autistic individuals to find their "unmasked" identity and build sustainable lives.

  • LGBTQIA+ Mental Health: Providing a truly safe, queer-affirming space for identity exploration and support.

  • Diverse Backgrounds: My history in AOD (Alcohol and Other Drugs) and disability support allows me to hold space for complex, multi-layered life challenges with zero judgement. I also enjoy supporting parents and families to learn more about how to support their children to navigate and explore their own unique identities.

Beyond the Clinic

I understand that life doesn’t always happen between 9 and 5. That’s why I offer dedicated evening and weekend sessions online. My goal is to make professional support accessible, sensory-friendly, and easy to fit into your actual life, so no commute or waiting rooms required.
